SLAB SAWING

Slab Sawing

Slab sawing, also known as flat sawing, is the diamond cutting tool most people are familiar with. It is used to cut horizontal flat concrete surfaces such as floors & pavement made of concrete or asphalt typically seen for road repair applications.
Iowa Wall Sawing (IWS) employs Diesel and Electric flat sawing, at depths up to 27” thick. This versatility allows IWS to perform safely, outdoors, indoors and in confined areas.

**Electric slab sawing allows IWS to cut indoors without any fumes.**

Typical applications include:
  • Pavement

  • Floors

  • Bridge decks

  • Highway patching

  • Plumbing runs

  • Plumbing repairs

  • Expansion joints

  • Traffic loops

  • Mass removal of flooring
